The epicenter of the region, the city of Lyon is, in itself, the capital of French gastronomy. But that’s not all! The workshop will be held in the Université Claude-Bernard Lyon 1. The Université Claude-Bernard Lyon 1 (UCBL), is one of the three public universities in Lyon. Established in 1971 through the merger of the 'faculté des sciences de Lyon' and the 'faculté de médecine', the university specializes in science and technology, medicine, and sports science.
LyonTech-la Doua campus is one of Lyon's leading research centers with more than 1 600 researchers working in the domains of mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, and computer science and it’s the largest university center in Lyon. It is situated north of Villeurbanne (a city in the metropolitan area of Lyon), close to the Parc de la Tête d’Or, and it is easily accessible with public transportation.
